GKD: FILTECH, a resounding success

Focus on process belts for phosphoric acid production

Reflecting on its participation in this year’s FILTECH event, leading international technical weaving operation GKD – GEBR. KUFFERATH AG is delighted to have made so many promising contacts and held so many interesting discussions. The leading trade fair for global filtration and separation technology is held over three days in Cologne, and this year’s event attracted more than 400 exhibitors and 14,000 visitors from across the globe. With the range of VACUBELT® filter belts presented in this high-level environment, the process belt experts from GKD really hit the nerve of the expert community. Interest focused on the topics of phosphorous gypsum and FGDP gypsum dewatering here. Yet the spiral belts, which are manufactured in-house and were on show for the first time, also enjoyed great success with an order of 50 belts for process water filtration.
