Drum filter screens

The filtration mesh on a rotary drum filter determines filtration of the overall system. These filtration or wire mesh screens must be matched to the respective application and the basic design of the filter being used.

Drum filter screens from GKD are available in finenesses ranging from 5 µm to 5,000 µm. Depending on requirements, the screens are available as cut-to-size mesh pieces or produced with clamping elements and bars. They are always produced to fit precisely into the individual filter system. In addition to the filtration meshes, systems for support constructions are also available. The screens used are generally made of stainless steel for finer filtration rates. Depending on the application, coarser filtration rates are also achieved using strong monofilament polyester meshes. Our service people can rescreen the drums with filter screens at our facility or on-site at our customers' at short notice.
