Filter Mesh

Filter mesh is the name given to woven, porous filter media, which are ideal for separating particles from gases or liquids, thanks to their aperture and pore size distribution.

Filter meshes can be made from metal, polymers or natural materials. The materials used define the mechanical properties of the filter mesh as well as their processing technologies. The mesh material is selected based on the requirements indicated by the filtration task and the ambient conditions.

Of all filter media, metal meshes prove particularly useful due to their very high pore stability, narrow pore size distribution and high mechanical strength.
