Autoscreen strips
Filter belts for automated belt screen changers, also referred to as autoscreen filters, are generally produced from KPZ Microdur weave/reversed dutch twilled weave. Use of this weave type allows the strict requirements in terms of the fabric's tensile strength to be ensured.
GKD produces fabrics and ready-to-use filter belts for all screen changers available in the market. In addition to the standard filter media in the coarse range, we also offer suitable filter media in the superfine range down to 20 µm. All belts are produced with brushed or welded edges in accordance with the specifications of the filter. The high cleanliness standard of the belts is guaranteed through ultrasonic cleaning. These filter belts can also be offered in higher grade materials such as 904L for special polymers with high corrosion potential.
