Seamless fabric solution for façades

Kindly note that we are a certified essential service during the COVID-19 lockdown, please view our certificate for more information.

Many people in the architecture industry are familiar with the ARCHITECT@WORK trade show series, with events throughout Europe. GKD regularly participates and is showing Omega Divergence, a new cable mesh product that offers flexibility and functionality.

Omega Divergence cable mesh from GKD opens new possibilities for architects in façade design with the option to choose a more open fabric to allow more light or a closer-woven fabric to provide more solar management. Sebastian Rick, Project Manager for Architecture Mesh at GKD, reports, “Omega Divergence offers architects enormous flexibility in façade design. At the same time, the fabric meets the strictest optical requirements, as the transitions within a panel are seamless.” Furthermore, Omega Divergence is sustainable. “Recycled stainless steel is used in its production and the material is extremely durable, particularly in moderate climate zones,” explains Goran Rakocija, GKD Architecture Mesh Project Manager.

Rick and Rakocija look forward to meeting visitors face-to-face at ARCHITECT@WORK in various locations over the coming months. “We are eager to introduce the material in person and have the chance to advise architects on its many uses.” GKD is participating in five ARCHITECT@WORK events. The first was held in Munich on April 27 and 28, 2022. Subsequent dates are in Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, and Oslo.
