The overall function of the filter press is to recover the maximum amount of liquid while producing the driest cake from various types of slurries. The filter press is specifically designed to solve any dewatering problems experienced under difficult conditions. GKD offers a wide range of spare parts compatible with most brands of filter presses.

FILTER PLATES

GKD can supply the entire range of filter plates in different plate styles and sizes. These filter plates are compatible with most filter presses and can operate in various filtration conditions, including various pH levels and high temperatures. GKD can offer the following filter plate options:

• Parallel plates and frames
• Recessed chamber plates
• Gasketed recessed chamber plates (C.G.R.)
• Recessed membrane and companion plates

GKD also supply filter plate handles in various designs suitable for either automatic or manual plate shifting. For the cleaning of the filter plates, GKD also supply a uniquely designed spatula blade to assist in removing the cake from the filter cloth once a filtration cycle has been completed.
