Times Square in New York City is possibly the best known arena for neon advertising signs. Besides the non-transparent LED display panels, the glass façade of the Crowne Plaza Hotel also houses Mediamesh that grants unrestricted views of the world outside from the hotel lobby. To ensure that the lobby of the hotel is still brightened by natural light, a transparent media façade is the only suitable solution. The approximately 70 m² and 55,000 pixels of the Mediamesh therefore fit in perfectly with the general ambience of Times Square.
