GKD Group announces extended Management Board
Moving into the future with a new organization
With effect from April 1, 2021, the GKD Group (GKD) has appointed two additional members to its Management Board. Lara Kufferath (Digitalization & Transformation) and Markus Kosel (Finance & Controlling) join the two current members of the family business now in its third and fourth generation. Dr. Stephan Kufferath, Commercial Director, and his brother Ingo Kufferath, Technical Director, have been managing the technical weavers of longstanding tradition since 1984. The recent extension and reorganization of the Management Board will cater to the strong growth and internationalization of the Group. At the same time, this also represents another step toward the long-term generation change. Indeed, the brothers are set to make the switch from active management of the business to the Supervisory Board in June 2025 on the 100th anniversary of GKD’s foundation.
